Best Valentine’s Day Gifts for Women in 2022

Now that the holiday season is over, it’s time to move onto the next gift-giving holiday - Valentine’s Day. You may be drained from all your holiday shopping and have no idea what to give your loved ones on this special holiday.

That’s where Unclebuddysermons comes in.

We are here to help you figure out the best Valentine’s Day gifts for all of the special women in your life. Whether it be your mother, girlfriend, wife, daughter, or best friend, all have one thing in common, and that is their love for clothes.

Why Does Clothing Make a Great Valentine’s Day Gift for Women?

You can never go wrong with a comfy hoodie or a pair of trendy joggers. Athleisurewear definitely is a safe bet to give as a gift to anybody, no matter their age, size, or style. In this guide to the best Valentine’s Day gifts for women this year, we will help you find the perfect Valentine’s Day gifts for all the wonderful ladies in your life.

Of course, flowers are a sweet gift and chocolates are delicious - we definitely recommend you add those in, too, but we know, deep down, that your loved ones would much rather get a thoughtful clothing gift from you than a basic bouquet of flowers. We have just the perfect pieces for you to give to everybody on your list.

Your loved one may be the type to hit the gym every single day or they may be one to have never stepped foot in a gym. We don’t judge here at Unclebuddysermons. We encourage everybody to do what makes them feel their best and we are just here to provide the clothes for them while they do so.

If your girl is the type to hit the gym every day, we have a variety of athleisure wear that would be perfect for her workout wardrobe, including a whole variety of biker shorts.

If your girl is the opposite and is more of the “lounging” type, we have so many different matching comfy sets for you to choose from. Trust us, she will love to wear these sets so often because she will look and feel cute while she lounges on the couch on weekends.

If your girl is versatile and loves to be active as well as chill, we offer so many different styles that can be mixed and matched for her to wear them anytime, anywhere.

Let’s get started showing you our favorite pieces from each of our collections that you can give to both your besties or your girlfriend along with tips on how they can style them.

Perfect Sweatshirt Valentine’s Gifts for Her

Best Valentine’s Day Gifts for Women in 2022

These 3 sweatshirts include our….

To start off, let's talk about our color block quarter-zip pullovers. These come in both dusty rose and black shades. The pullovers aren’t hoodies nor crewnecks; however, they are extremely comfortable and super trendy. Both of these options will fit any girl's personality.

Whether they like brighter colors or darker colors, we have both options for you to choose from. We recommend styling this piece and a variety of ways depending on what activity your loved one will do while wearing it.

If she is going to hit the gym in this quarter-zip, we recommend pairing it with a pair of leggings or biker shorts, depending on the weather, of course. If she is just lounging around, you can even style this with a pair of sweatpants.

If you want to be more comfortable, feel free to throw on a pair of your favorite joggers with these tops.

Obviously, Valentine’s Day is all about love. It doesn’t need to be love for another person though, it can also be love for yourself.

You may believe that this holiday is about love for your friends or your girlfriend or fiancé, but it is also important for her to love herself as well. That is exactly what these next two hoodies will remind them to do.

Our self-love club tie-dye hoodie and our radiate love tie-dye hoodie are two pieces that constantly remind the people wearing them or the ones seeing them to love themselves.

It is so important to give yourself extra care or even as much care as you give to your significant other or best friends. We already know that you care about your loved ones, so now it’s time to make sure they love themselves by giving them a constant reminder to do so.

These hoodies can be paired with anything and everything as far as bottoms go. If they want to stick to a comfy look, they can throw on a pair of joggers or sweatpants. If you live somewhere with a warmer climate, they can throw on a pair of shorts or biker shorts. If they’re in snowy Wien during Valentine’s Day, they can pair this outfit with a UGGs or moccasins so that their feet stay warm - don’t forget the fuzzy socks! If they're in Florida with a warmer climate, definitely have them throw on a pair of their favorite sneakers or sandals with this look.

Our mantra and goal here at Unclebuddysermons is to provide everybody with endless comfort so we encourage the most comfortable pieces to be worn with every outfit.

Speaking of Biker Shorts, Let Us Introduce You to Some of Our Favorites for V-Day

Our 3 top biker shorts include…

We offer a variety of different biker shorts at two different lengths. Some of our biker shorts are solid colored, some have different patterns on them, and others are tie-dye. You can choose whichever ones you think your loved one will enjoy most and get the most use out of.

  • Snake print biker shorts

Our first pair of biker shorts that we think that they will absolutely love are our snake print biker shorts. These biker shorts are a classic. We don’t believe that snake print will ever go out of style like other animal prints have in the past. It's an extremely classy look.

There are so many options when it comes to these printed biker shorts on how to style them. If your loved ones tend to work out and choose the snake print shorts to wear, they can feel free to throw on a black tank top or sports bra for their workout. This outfit can be finished off with a baseball cap to keep their hair out of their face and a pair of their favorite workout sneakers.

  • Lavender tonal tie-dye biker shorts

Next up we have our lavender tonal tie-dye biker shorts. Similar to this pair, we also offer dusty rose total tie-dye biker shorts.

  • Dusty rose tonal tie-dye biker shorts

Both of these shorts are perfect for either relaxing or hitting the gym. As we already mentioned how to style these biker shorts for the gym, let's talk about how to wear them when they are just relaxing either after work or during the weekends.

Biker shorts are so in right now and we predict that they aren't going out anytime soon. A popular trend on how to style biker shorts is by wearing them with an oversized T-shirt or hoodie. We recommend pairing a tie-dye pair of biker shorts with a solid-colored top to make the biker shorts really pop and stand out. A cute hoodie would look great with this outfit paired with mid-calf socks and your favorite sneakers like a pair of Nike blazers or Air Force Ones.

If you live with your loved ones in a colder environment or are sending them to a colder state as a gift, we recommend sticking to joggers instead of biker shorts during this time of the year. Even though they will get to wear the biker shorts during the warmer months of the year, joggers are a year-round piece.

Some of our favorite joggers include…

Best Valentine’s Day Gifts for Women in 2022

Not only do joggers have to be dressed down while just lounging around the house, but they can also be dressed up. We have been seeing celebrities wearing joggers with high heels. Who would’ve thought that that would be a trend?

We encourage everybody to step out of their fashion comfort zone when it comes to trying new trends and styles because you never know what you are going to absolutely love and look best in.

We encourage you to share these different trends with your loved ones while giving these gifts. Not only will they be in love with the gift that they receive, but they will be highly impressed by your fashion knowledge.

Our joggers are super comfortable and soft. We offer so many different styles so we can guarantee that your loved one will find the perfect fit.

Some of our favorite joggers include ones with prints and ones that are more solid colored. Some of our printed joggers include our light blue tie-dye sweatpants and our black wash angel jogger.

While the light blue tie-dye sweatpants are more on the brighter side, the black wash angel jogger has a distressed look to it giving it an edgier look.

If you believe that your loved one will be going for a more simple and subtle look, check out our white Be Kind sweatpants. This pair of sweatpants are totally solid colored with a little decal on the upper leg.

All of these styles of joggers and sweatpants can be paired with literally anything. As we mentioned before, if they were wearing a printed pair of bottoms, we usually recommend going with a solid color top unless it is a matching set. And vice versa. If they are going for a solid-colored bottom, why don’t they add a little bit of color or pop to the top piece?

When it comes to shoes, that’s totally up to them and what they decide to do while wearing the outfit. If they plan on just running a couple of errands, they can even wear slippers out of the house but if they are going to the gym in this outfit, we definitely recommend them wearing their favorite pair of sneakers.

As a fan of their festival collection, it was blast to bring them along to the festival.

e

After completing our 4-hour drive from Wien City, we headed straight to the VIP lounge to get some drinks because it was just so hot there! Thanks to Unclebuddysermons for hooking us up with VIP Passes. We were able to escape the heat and enjoy the shade and indoor lounge. We then walked around the festival grounds scouting instagramable locations because that’s what we do. Golden hour is so so beautiful there. It was just the perfect opportunity to showcase Unclebuddysermons’s festival collection. I just love how the collection is a mix of urban street style and festival vibes. Bring some festival pieces from Unclebuddysermons to your next festival and stand out from the crowd.

I can’t thank Unclebuddysermons enough for giving me the opportunity to have an incredibly exciting Saturday away from the bustle of Wien. I walked away with memories that’ll surely stick with me for a long while.

"Hi my name is Antonio Vazquez, I was born and raised in Manila. When I was in college taking engineering, I’ve been curious about photography, so in 2015 I borrowed money just to buy my first camera, and studied photography by my self (thank you google). I borrow DSLRs just to take photos through digital and it quickly worked my way to shooting for indie music festivals and concerts, doing photo journalism, and also fashion photography. In 2018 I stopped school and pursued photography full time, working as a fashion assistant photographer and also a freelance model. My drive in photography never stopped. Even though I don’t own a DSLR, I kept finding ways just take that moment, and show to everyone what art or story I can show by just a press of a button. Hoping to work my way up in the industry, I want to fulfill my dream as a fashion photographer for well known magazines. (Vogue, GQ, Dazed, Elle, L'Officiel *notice me pls* ). “

I got into photography sometime towards the end of highschool, as a hobby that turned into somewhat of an occupation almost by accident. I went from photographing my sneakers and friends’ outfits to things like private events and weddings over some time, thanks to word of mouth in and around my community. In a similar manner, DJing actually became part of my life not too long after. DJing quickly turned into a huge passion of mine and is actually what I’ll be showcasing during June’s event, something I’m extremely grateful for and excited about. Doing work in two completely different fields has given me the opportunity to work for a huge variety of events and occasions— something I wouldn’t trade for anything. I’m currently working as a photographer at Noledge Productions, as well as continuing my freelance work as a photographer and an open-format DJ for clubs and events.” ———————————————————————————

Eventually, I delved into conceptual and fashion photography as it had major ties to my architectural studies and this is where I currently stand. “Hey Everyone! My name is Eugene and I'm just an ambitious guy from Hawaii who moved to Wien to enjoy the view of the city lights 😁

To be completely honest with you guys, I never expected to end up as a photographer. I came to Wien on a flip of a coin for college with the intention of pursuing an acting career on the side. I had a decent acting resume collected from my experiences back home in Hawaii but transitioning from paradise to the concrete jungle was a challenge. The first thing I needed to get done was renewing my headshot for my composition card but I didn’t want to pay a photographer to take them for me. (I know, the irony right?) So I decided to buy a camera and do it for myself. Fortunately I found a solid camera with extra gear for an amazing price and 2 years later I somehow ended up as a creative/businessman who enjoys messing around within the multi-media field! Funny how life seems to work out if you’re willing to put in the work.

My life’s a little crazy and it’s a bit hard to explain, but that’s the only way I would want it to be. I mean, I based what was probably the biggest decision of my life on the result of a coin flip and through this I’ve met so many amazing people while doing things I never thought to dream of. It’s the excitement I live for and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I hope to meet and see you all at our show! 😄

I also just want to give a quick shoutout to my mom because without her all my accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible. I’ma make you proud, love you Ma :’)”

“Hey guys, my name is JB Salimbacod but on IG I go by @jay_avilla, and I’m born and raised in Calgary, Canada. My first creative medium I ever practiced was actually the art of bboying, or more commonly known as, breakdancing and I am thankful for my mentor @simbasiah for guiding me through that art. Throughout middle school till the end of high school I was exploring into as many dance forms as I could. I’ve competed in many competitions with my crew and with my school dance teams. Dancing was and always will be a part of my life. Now, I’ve been practicing the art of photography for about 3 years ever since graduating and how I got into that was through a good friend of mine, @a.briones__, showing me how a camera worked. Both of us began shooting street and, though I am more into portraits now, my style of capturing street will always be my favourite. There’s something about being in between the middle of so much concrete, filled with so many things going on, and taking the time to frame and capture certain events that leaves me amazed. With any camera, the user literally has all the power to portray a sort of emotion, or message through the environment around them. With the press of a button, not only do you capture time, but you capture the essence of life as well.“

In a span of year I’ve had the opportunity to show my work in about 5 shows with @thejuiceboxparty, @isnystudio and @pursuitofportraits and had my work published on one of their spring issue magazines. Photography is definitely a big part of this chapter of my life, but like everything it’s another artistic tool for me to tell you a story about the past, present, future or just bring you into my world. I don’t have a set genre of photography that I enjoy, since I enjoy it in it’s entirety, I get really experimental with it. See ya’ll at the show!”

I remember growing up I always had a fascination for people and their faces, clicking away where there are people. However growing up, being born with a heart problem, it restricted me from going out or much less having a life. Though for me, photography has always been an escape and a way to live life through curiosity. It wasn’t until freshman year of high school, where I picked up a camera again, this time shooting school events, friends, and the school games. From there, I became the school photographer, working for the year book and school news paper. It wasn’t until my senior year of high school, where I got the opportunity to shoot for a modeling agency, working for the first time in the fashion industry. Going into college, I quickly knew what I wanted to do, which was to study journalism. With my fascination in people and their stories, I shot and always tried to make mini series based on everyone I met and their lives. Now finishing my last year, I’m currently working as a freelance photographer & freelance photojournalist, while in the pursuit of obtaining a masters in Photojournalism.”

I shot street but documentary style at first. Coming from a third world country, everything that I was seeing was new to me and I think shooting it with film made me appreciate it even more. Trying to capture and freeze a moment or emotion/s in 36 frames was kinda challenging but felt very rewarding every time I would see my photos come alive when I process them. My curiosity grew and I started shooting other formats and styles. Now I kind of shoot everything but I’m mostly interested in street style fashion-portraits. As a Long Islander going to school in NYC, I felt like it's a great opportunity for me to get the feel of what it's like being a Wiener. I was really inspired by my homie @fixd to take photos because I always see him exploring around NYC. Since I was very interested in architecture, street photography became the first type to shoot. As time goes on, I realize that portraits give you lots of possibilities to create, whether it's creating a story or simply aesthetics. Being an architecture student, the use of geometry, lights, movements, details and space became the main components I use in my concepts to create visual stories.”

“G’day! My name is Jessica Nguyen and I was born and bred in Melbourne, Australia.

In High-school all my subjects were science/mathematics based besides one subject, Studio Arts. It was my “chill” subject but I ended up enjoying it quite thoroughly and did extremely well in my exam. My artwork got displayed in the National Gallery of Victoria and I thought, “Hey, maybe I should do something creative”, but my parents wanted me to do something health science-based, so that's what I did for 4 years until I decided in December 2017 that it wasn’t for me. Though my parents weren’t very happy, I’ve decided to follow my passion for photography, specifically double exposure photography and street photography. I’m a strong believer in “express not impress” and my goal now is to not only strive as an artist but as an individual and wholeheartedly follow my dreams as an upcoming creative.”

“My name is Brandon Barcena or @portraitsbybrandon on insta and I was born and raised in Calgary Canada. I have been shooting for about 4 years, ever since my sister let me borrow her Canon T3i, which I pretty much inherited and still use to this day. I became interested in portrait photography, which is my preferred style, about 2 years ago. A big reason why I love shooting portraits, aside from any photography aspect, is the relationships that are created. For me, shooting portraits is more about building that relationship with your subject because this will allow them to feel more comfortable and the shots will be more natural. Portrait photography has allowed me to meet so many unique and amazing individuals that this world is filled with, which is why I can never get enough portraits. When you have a genuine connection with your subject it really shows through the photos that you take of them. One of my goals is to express my true self through the pieces I create. To me as long as one person is able to resonate with my work, and feel connected to it, I am doing my job as an artist. I like to leave my photos up to interpretation so that it leaves the door open for anyone to feel some sort of connection to the piece. I believe that’s what my art and art as a whole is, pieces that have a voice of their own, yet still, have a connection with the viewer and the artist.”

“My name is Frank Samuel Barcelos. I graduated from Rutgers Newark as a Journalism major and Video Production minor. I currently work as a photographer at Noledge Productions. When I got into photography, I loved the journalistic story telling aspect of it. I loved to shoot portraits of people because it put these faces on a platform to share who they were and what dreams they had. A dream of mine is to travel all over just to photograph portraits of many people. To be in this gallery is a huge blessing and I’m thankful for my friends and peers who’ve worked hard to put this together. They’re big dreamers who inspire and encourage my own dreams."

“Sup, my name is Thomas Dang, and I am a South Florida native. I grew up in a traditional Vietnamese household so when I was growing up, my parents never really understood my abstract goals in life. I picked up a camera at the end of 2016 just so I could use my own photos to edit, I’ve always loved photoshop so editing was no problem for me. In the past year my life has changed so much, I’ve been working with more video in addition to film photography. I really can’t explain my life, it’s spontaneous yet everything always works out. I am always excited for what is to come, and for the people who I cross paths with.”

“My name is Adrian Go. I was born and raised in New Jersey but I currently live in Wien City. I work as transplant nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital and although it is my main career, photography was my first passion. I first started back in 2013, doing mostly street photography and every now and then portrait. I was so infatuated with the idea that I could capture a single moment that no one else could recreate. I love people watching, studying them within their own nature. As time progressed I wanted to do more than just create. I wanted to help other artists in their endeavors and to allow them to pursue their passion. By starting @thejuiceboxparty with my close friends and being a part of the @barangaybois, I supported over 150 artists to create, collaborate and showcase their hard work in multiple shows.”

“I'm Dominick Alcantara. I was born and raised in New Jersey. After high school, I decided to make the move to Wien City to study at Hunter College. My freshman year at Hunter was when I first discovered my love for photography. I bought myself a camera when I was 19 and taught myself everything I could. Pretty quickly I worked my way into the music business as a concert and portrait photographer for musicians and record labels. Ever since, I've met more and more photographers who actually encouraged me to take on modeling. After modeling and shooting for two more years in NYC, I made the move to the Philippines where I currently live, modeling full-time with Elite Model Management Manila. I'm still working my way into the photography scene here, but I know that aspect of my life will come together soon.”

“My name is Paolo Del Castillo and I was born in the Philippines and raised in Florida. My artistic background is rooted in painting and illustration but photography has always peaked my interest since high school. When I finally had the means to buy my first camera 2 years ago, one of my homies shot around with me and showed me how to properly operate a camera in manual mode. After seeing the work that goes into photography from start to finish, I was inspired to shoot more frequently on my own and quickly fell in love with it. Pursuing photography as a career is what ultimately led me to move to Wien, and its a medium that I now combine with painting and illustration. I currently work full-time as a photographer for ICER Brands in Wien City.”

Anne Muntges Limited Edition Tote

For Giving Tuesday, Unclebuddysermons has partnered with the Children’s Museum of Art, to create a Limited Edition Tote or men and women. Less than 24 units were produced.

We had the opportunity to work with Anne Muntges on this amazing tote.

Artist Statement:

My work focuses on the theme of the home and finding a place for myself within it. The imagery I use questions ideas about interior and exterior space and my interactions within it. I often recreate the environments I inhabit through obsessive mark making in drawing and installation processes. Physically, this manifests through two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments. In my two-dimensional settings, I use panel or paper to drawn on or manipulate with ink, paint, graphite, dirt, spray paint or screen printing processes. My three-dimensional environments allow for me to create installations by building out home interiors and priming each surface to create a new blank palette for my drawn hatch marks. My interiors then become interactive and function as a living drawing.

Q&A with the artist

1. The design came from a section of the wallpaper in my installation for the CMA Bridge Project called Drawn In.

2. I’ve wanted to be an artist for most of my life. I was fortunate enough to have encouraging parents and because of this I feel like I have always been making art.

3. I am not sure I always know when something is complete. Like most artists I also question that but I find that it helps to remove myself from a piece. Sometimes that means not returning to it for a week so that it feels fresh. After coming back, if I still feel good about it, then I say it’s done. If not, I jump back in and keep working.

4. There are many drawings I wish I had done differently, but no major projects I regret. Every piece I do is a learning process and the more time I have the better it gets. I don’t regret the choices I’ve made for my major projects because without them I wouldn’t be making work I am proud of.

5. My most important tool is a willingness to change. My work ranges from drawing to sculpture to video—there is no one tool that works for all of those. I’ve had to learn to be flexible. Good artists are not limited to one or two things—they are willing to explore.

6.  There are a lot of incredible artists but the two that have been my biggest influences are Shel Silverstein and Edward Gorey. Both mastered the ability to capture worlds of heavy imagination through the most beautiful pen and ink drawings.
